UK GDPR compliance

ReturnLoop Nails processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We act as a data controller for data collected directly from users of the platform, and as a data processor for client data entered by nail technicians.

PECR compliance (SMS messaging)

All SMS messages sent via ReturnLoop Nails are transactional review requests sent to clients who have had a genuine appointment with the nail technician. Every SMS includes a clear opt-out instruction ("Reply STOP to opt out"). Opt-outs are honoured immediately and permanently.

Nail technicians using the platform are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate legal basis to contact their clients by SMS, in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

ICO registration

Booking Butler Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as required under the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have a concern about how we handle your data, you have the right to contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer (not a business), you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. Please contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.

Complaints

We take all complaints seriously. To raise a complaint, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Complaint". We aim to respond within 5 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the ICO (for data protection matters) or seek independent legal advice.
